Ikuko Itoh: The Artist of Love & Dissention
Ikuko Itoh is a famous, Japanese character designer and animation director. Not only has Itoh-san graced anime series such as, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, Maho Tsukai Tai, even her own series Princess Tutu.
Over the years her artistic style has evolved and has stood out from her starting out as a key animator and episodic animation director to character designer and chief animation
Ikuko Itoh has been able to show ranges of emotion of movement in her characters giving them a life of their own, even if the character is not of her own making; Itoh is able to claim them as her own with her artistic style. Ikuko Itoh is the best animator and it has allowed her to climb the ranks among other great animators where their fans are able to distinguish and follow their work. Ikuko Itoh is the self-proclaimed artist of Love and Dissention!
